What is Auditorium?
Auditorium is an application that allows users and developers to create music visualisations from attached MIDI instruments.
It is written using the Java language, and is designed to allow the writer of video output modules to get on with creating the visualisations and not have to worry about device inconsistencies or compatibility.
More information is available on the about page.
What can it do?
Pretty much anything. Modules have been written for 2D and 3D output. You could write a module that does no visual output at all, but perhaps controls some other device to create a physical manifestation of your tune. Whatever you want!
What does it look like?
Have a look at the screenshots page for some examples.
Where can I get it?
Auditorium is open source software released under the GPL. It is available in source form or via Java Web Start if you just want to check it out.
Have a look at the download page for more information.
